As per today I will implement daily rebounding for 10 mins minimum to get my heart pumping and help my lymphathic system to eleminate toxins. I have had my eyes on one of those for a while – its a just a cheapy to try how it feels and if it resonates. I can’t run, because my knee joints don’t like it, I don’t like gym workouts and I don’t like swimming in pools with Chlorine, so this seems a good alternative. Apparently 10 minutes of rebounding is similar to 30 minutes of running but with less strain on the joints. I have just read the book by the Medical Medium and he recommends rebounding to stimulate the lymphatic system and eliminate toxins. Nasa also recommends rebounding to their astonauts. So I will aim to do 10 mins of this combined with my yoga & meditation practice in the morning ideally or whenever I can manage.I often get asked how I use all my all oils in my daily routines, so here are just a few examples of how I use them.
I have just purchased myself a body brush. its from the Body shop made with sustainable wood and cactus bristles. I brush my whole body in small strokes, starting at the feet towards the heart before my morning shower. I put a few drops of the doTERRA blend Smart & Sassy on (check out my website essential-oils.nz for more info). Dry Brushing gets rid of old skin cells, stimulates the lymphatic system & elimination of toxins. You could change the oil you apply or not use an oil at all, but I like it.We use the Sonicare tooth brush, which was recommended by my dental hygenist with the doTERRA On Guard Toothpast and doTERRA On Guard Mouthwash in the morning and evening. And my teeth and mouth have never felt better.Every morning and evening I use the doTERRA Salubelle Beauty blend on my face. It arrives undiluted in the rollerbottle, so I always have 2 empty 10 ml rollers at hand, put 1 part each from the orginal bottle in the empty ones, leaving 1 part in the original bottle, then I top all 3 with fractionated coconut oil and lately I also add 5 drops of Yarrow / Pom to each of the bottles. Its my favourite and only thing I put on my face.After my morning shower I always put my home made body oil all over my body. My favourite carrier oils are Macadamia and Almond Oil. I alternate the oils that I put into the carrier oil, but I love Melissa, Lavender, Geranium, Frankincense, Copaiba, Green Mandarin, Manuka, Rose, Helychrysum, Blue Tansy. Each time my bottle is empty I make a new creation and love that I know exactly whats in it. No preservatives, chemicals, and things that harm my body.Also each morning and evening I take my supplements. I take doTERRA supplements. The Lifelong Vitality Vitality Supplements are great – with a Food Nutrient Complex, a Cellular Complex and Omega’s I have the basics sorted. I also take an Iron supplement, sometimes when I feel really low in energy the Mito Max Energy Complex, sometimes I add the Deep Blue supplement to reduce inflammation in the body, sometimes I add the Bone Nutrient Complex and the Phytoestrogen Complex for my changing Hormones with oncoming Menopause. I try to listen to my body and intuition and change my supplement regime as to what is needed with Lifelong Vitality being a sure staple. At the moment I also take a tablet of L-Glutamine to support my digestive tract, which is still not 100% another recommendation by the Medical Medium.
I also have 2 of my infuser teabottles, which I refill several times per day. I use a mix of herbs at the moment with the staple being Oatstraw and Nettle in the tea infuser and Ginger and Tumeric slices in the bottom. Sometimes I add a few leaves of Rosemary, Mint or Lemon Verbena. Sometimes I add Red Clover, Hibiscus, Rosehip, what ever I fancy really. I don’t refresh the herbs for every refill, sometimes I refill up to 4 times with the same herbs.
Last but not least I also load the diffuser in our living room and if I work from home in my office as well. Today I choose Lemongrass to clear stagnant energies, Litsea because its uplifting to the mood and Frankincense for grounding and wisdom. I love to combine Citrus and Wood oils – perfect combo. I usually use 4-8 drops in our diffusers depending on the room size.
